Motion Graphics

Motion Graphics are graphics that use a movie camera, video, shapes, photos, text and animation to create movement. These are the computer programs for motion graphics, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Flash, Maya and 3D Studio Max. Motion graphics are usually mixed with audio for use in multimedia projects. Motion Graphics can be used in Film, Indents, Advertising and Animation.

The characteristics of Motion Graphics

Graphics: Graphics are visual image on some surface such as design or illustration, paper, screen and draw.

Movements: Movements need to create for movie camera, video and animation to make movement for body, action, zoom in and out and 3D movements.

Visual Effects: Visual effects involve the integration of live action footage and generated imagery to create true to life but it would be dangerous and costly to control on film. Visual effects using computer generated imagery has recently become accessible to the Independent filmmaker with animation and composition software.

Technology Consideration

Frame rate: As frame frequency is the frequency rate which using an imaging device to make continuing image called frames. Frame rate applies equally to film and video cameras, computer graphics, and motion capture systems. Frame rate is most usually in frames per second (FPS) and also progressive scan monitors as hertz (Hz).

Video Format: This is information about various video formats and standards such as HD, DVD, HDTV, Flash, Disc MPEG, QuickTime, VHS, Windows Media.

Screen Ratios: called display resolution or a digital television, computer monitor or display device is the number of distinct pixels, which is dimension that can be displayed. For example “1024×768 means the width is 1024 pixels and the height is 768 pixels. You must say as “ten twenty-four by seven sixty-eight” or “ten twenty-four by seven six eight”.

Compression: Compression is high or good quality for video HD when you can see very clear screen on video. That is called compression.

FILM title   

This opening sequences called Lord of War is a first person narrative where I heard a quote ”I can happens to be a bullet” which it is very sad. It is about life and death of the little guy. This video has shown where have movement and 3D movements.

TV title

United States of Tara came out of a book idea from the writers on the show. The pop-up idea uses folded paper, animation, stop motion animation and illustration. The pop-up has also used a Canon and a Nikon D300 for stop motion animation and software on iMac.

Music video

I choose music video by Nas & Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley – Patience. This video has called “moving painting” about the motion graphic because it is not about action film. These motions graphic uses zooms in and out, 3D movement, darkly, strange in nature

Games Graphics  

You have to figure out what does ‘best graphics’ mean for games graphics? If a game has just a beautiful art style but sucks in the technical department, is that good enough? They don’t have the definitive answer about games graphics. They are opinion for this list. It’s not easy to compare most Wii games to any good-looking PS3 game

AICP Show 2009 reception sponsor reel is about making good ideas using the right imagery. This film was created using drawings, 3D compositor, Cinema 4 technology so everything integrates seamlessly into the scenes which the visitors to the event could watch. This film was also created words with mechanical objects.
